my lighter doesnt work for some reason but the light around it does works and l cant get it to work, l found the fuse box under the hood and in the trunk but there are no diagrams anywhere on the covers

duhhh, in the fuse box under the dash, come on now

As l know it, all Mercedes have their fuses under the hood, by the firewall usually off of the drivers side. When u pop open the cover, their will be a drawing of the fuse arrangement. It will label which one it is. Try replacing it.


(Note: not to try to make u sound obtuse, but if the key is not turned into the on position, not saying that the car has to be on, the lighter might not work, At least that is how it is in all the older models. l only say this because l do not know if u smoke in the car, or u just need a light. Trust me, l had 2 300 SD Benzes & currently own a 1986 560SEL & a 1974 450 SLC.)

The fuse chart is underneath the trim panel on the left side of the dash, the fuse is in the fuse box on the driverside rear of the engine compartment l believe fuse # 46, a 15 amp fuse.

it is under the hood, drivers side close to the firewall, just like every mercedes..look on the cover and it tells you what fuse for what you are looking for..
