How can wer repair mercedes 1994 e320 thermostat ? The temperature outside can not be read inside.?

You do not really ''repair'' it. Majority of the time, it is the sensor that is faulty and has to be replaced. It is a line that runs from the front bumper up to the fuse box. If that is not the problem, it will be the display unit itself at the bottom of the cluster. The sensor is relatively cheap but if it is the display that is the problem, it is much more expensive.

two bolts on both sides & it comes out follow the hoses from the radiator to the engine. if a sensor is the problem, which might be the map sensor located on the intake duck just after the air filter..thats a easy clean up. spray some cleaner either the map cleaner or some carb cleaner spray on the part it will dry up in seconds & get u seeing the temp on the outside inside..thats what they do. the sensor tells the computer air flow & temp and! the temp goes to the car so u can see it too.
