Here r the steps to programming ur garage remote into the vehicle homelink system. First, u will clear out anything that has been previously programmed.
A. You clear out the previous memory by holding the 2 outer buttons of the 3 buttons below the center mirror a little yellow light will begin flashing next to the 1st button. Continue holding the 2 outer buttons until the little yellow light blinks rapidly a few times. Now the system is ready to be programmed.
B. Select & hold the button on the mirror u want the remote to be programmed on. While holding the button u selected, hold the garage opener within 3-5 inches from the mirror & press & hold the garage opener button until the little yellow light blinks rapidly again.
If u have other remotes for community gates, other garages etc. u repeat the same steps in B. for the other 2 buttons for ur additional remotes.
