These are a good buy and are bullet proof if looked after.

Take the car to a mechanic and have it inspected. Also make sure that the catalytic converter on the exhaust system is still in working condition. The catalytic converter on that type of car costs almost 4000 dollars US to replace and the car will not run correctly if the catalytic converter is bad. Also do a car fax report to insure that it is not a salvage rebuild.

l have a 2003 Mercedes C230 Kompressor that l bought 2 years ago. If you have never owned a Mercedes before, it is the best car that l have ever owned. l have always found things that annoy me about any car that l have ever owned, with the exception of this one. It runs great and l love it. l would recommend a Mercedes to anyone who can get into one.

No. Too much for that car. It is just getting to the point where u will need to do a lot of maintenance/repairs. l have a 1999 C230, 113000 miles, & the Air conditioner broke 105,000. $1600 to repair. Maybe l am just grouchy, but l think the A/C should last a bit longer than that on a mercedes. Also, running a bit rough lately. Mechanically it HAS been pretty reliable (I've had it for 6 years, it had 17000 miles when l bought it) & never left me stranded. I've been faithful with the recommended services on it. One other thing. it is horrible in the snow, with or without snow tires.

l beat the hell out of mine. Damn thing never broke. l think u could talk him down a bit.
