l like it, but first year cars are normally not the best, the 2002 model and 2005 were the best to me (same car)

Amazing. Mercedes S-Class was & still is the leader in luxury-sport sedans. Its performance is not always best but it makes up for it in technology, safety, & luxury. Its a drivers car & as well as a car to be driven in. l own its competitor, the BMW 740iL & its amazing but rather have the S-Class. 97% of World Goverments use the S-Class cause its really safe. They get the S-Class Protection with bullet-proof glass & such. The new S55 beat its compeition: Lexus LS460, BMW 750Li, Audi A8, & Infiniti M45. Its just got more luxury for the buck. When ur buying a big car like that, u should expect it to handle & be as sporty as a BMW M3. So its wo not matter of handling & performance. l like the 2001 Mercedes S430, cause its really great & just perfect. No wonder it still remains & icon among its competitors.

Great driving machine when everything is working properly. New car warranty is expired so be prepared for expensive repairs. If you are considering buying one, be sure to purchase an extended warranty.

pay a little more and get a maserati or something. too many mercedes out there.
