Im considering in buying a Mercedez CLK 320 cabriolet 2002.

It can be hard to find used parts if it ever needs anything

they're NEVER on sale, and avoiding ppl that want to crash into you to collect on your insurance.

They have a lot of small moving parts designed to increase the general comfort of the car when one of these parts goes bad it is difficult to usually find the part and is usually expensive, because they are an unusual part, or high quality part.

So in short the answer is the tiny parts break a lot and are difficult to replace without paying for the car over again.

Empty wallet from paying for repairs, maintenance, gasoline and parts. The dealer labor rate here near DC is $115/hour. My friend just spent $777 to have the spark plugs changed on the same engine!!!!!!

To the contrary of so many folks, l have owned a few
of these fine cars, & never had any big problems with
them. When looking for a 'used' MBZ, the most common
problem r the electronics with newer series models.
l prefer the older Benz is whose parts r available at
reasonable prices. Also, l would recommend a German
Car Repair Specialist rather than a dealership for price
and expertise.
The Model u r looking at, 2002 CLK Cabriolet is
based upon the C-class & has a decent reputation.
The radio is junk, however, a small fix. Good luck!
