I have a 2001 clk 430 at about 110,000 km what do i need for a tuneup i dont wanna go to mercedes

plugs, wires, make sure ur hoses r all good, belts r good also, filters...

no drive it those plugs will go 150000 easy and if one fails the miss fire monitor will turn on the check engine lamp at the first miss fire from plugs

Do not bother with the wires as the first post suggested. You cannot buy a wire set first of all & secondly, they r hugely expensive. If u do need a spark plug wire or wires, replace them individually ( they r not all the same by the way. Either pull out the plug & look for the letter marked on the suppressor ( either G, H, K, or L ) or see which cylinder it is & if it is the A or B wire )

At that mileage, u should replace the fuel filter & spark plugs, they r both due at 96 000 km. Also, the coolant should be replaced every couple of years & the brake fluid every 3 years so if that is due, u may as well do it at the same time. Scroll through the instrument cluster menu & see if the next service is a Flex A or a Flex B ( shown as one or two wrenches respectively ) & then follow the service requirements for the applicable service.

Well, the spark plugs should be replaced at 5 years/160,000Km. You can change them if u like but l would not untill u meet the mileage interval. The fuel filter should be changed 5 years/96,000Km. The air filter should be changed 4 years/96,000Km. The brake fluid should be changed every 2 years & the engine coolant should be changed every three years. l am a technician at a Mercedes-Benz shop & something that u might want to consider doing if ur doing the work yourself is change the transmission fluid & filter. We do not recommed it untill 100K miles but if it were my car l would not wait that long. That should be about it for a tune-up. As far as ur service ''A'' or ''B''. When that is due it will automatically pop up in ur cluster. No need to do it before it tells you.
