l have a 1982 Mercedes Benz 300 SD Turbo Diesel. 33 mpg and can still cruise at 130mph. Not to bad for a 26 year old car ;-)

well that is a tricky question..Lexus make very good cars but so do Mercedes Benz

l own several Mercedes so l would have to say Mercedes are better

I'd say Mercedes, since Lexus kind of strikes me as Mercedes, but Japanese, and a little softer, without the sportiness that you get from a Mercedes. however, some mercedes models have had their issues..so watch out

They make great cars. Although l kinda like the Lexus also.

when lexus first came out if u put a ls 400 & a 126 4.2 up on a lift side by side u would pick the lexus, however both companies r engaged in a war of gizmo is & the looser is the consumer. both companies have lost focus that in order to be a luxury brand u must deliver more quality less excuses & ''can'' the electro garbage [this is what a 2.50 maps & movie theaters r for] whats next a combination refrigerator/microwave glove box. these cars have already taken away most of the driving aspects of motoring with distance sensing cruise control that allegedly will apply the brakes, rain sensing automatic wipers [for people do not know when it is raining] self parking [what happens when a sensor does not read right & a child steps into the way] this is not luxury this is entrapment. note if u can not or wo not drive please take a train, the road is no place for u to be playing/talking or ''multi- tasking''..

Which would you rather a look-a-like toyota/Lexus or a Real car Mercedes-Benz

Better how? ''Better'' is a subjective term and it depends on what your needs and priorities are to determine which vehicle is better for you. No one car company is better in all possible criterias that could be used to describe ''better''.

do not compare japanese cars with german/european cars, they're both different, lexus is a toyota and not that luxurious, mercedes is way better and more power also luxurious with better features. lexus just wants to be a mercedes benz wannabe
