No, 66k miles needs new timing chain or belt and its beat up already 150k really beat up and lots of parts need replacement and, maintenance for a mercedes is expensive so you will be spending a lot just for that.

thats sounds about right. Make sure it hasnt been in any accidents and get it inspected. Still got alot of life left in it. Thats very low miles

Seems like a decent deal. l just saw a tuning package you can get for the older S-Class too to give it an updated look.

Car should retail for about 16500 - 17000, warranty is good because of potential expensive repairs but only if warranty covers the items. Alot of these extended warranties cover only specific components so make sure u understand what is & is not covered. That model mercedes has suspension trouble, some minor engine electrical problems, & quite a few body electrical problems. As for some of the other posts; u do not touch the timing chain on a mercedes 113 engine, they have no problems. And lastly every car is unique have someone u trust look it over before purchase.

Well, with the warranty, ok l guess, l would try to find a 2001 0r 2002, 200 was the first year for this car, before they got all of the bugs worked out in it.

Decent price if everything works,,,,,,,,do some research to make sure the extended waranty is transferrable, AND to make sure the warranty company is still in business. A few of the big ones have gone bankrupt in the last year or so.
You should take it to the dealer BEFORE u make a firm deal to get a pre-purchase inspection done. It will cost u a few bucks but could save u thousands in repairs in the first year u own it. The dealer will do a ''short test'' on all of the electrical systems in the vehicle (engine electronics, chassis electric, convenience features, everything) to see if there r any invisible problems.

it was great 8 years ago, but now you are looking at a lot of potential glitches with the electronically controlled systems, and expensive ones to. you dont need a good mechanic, as you do an electrical engineer for this thing.

The warranty is great to have, but the price is a little high. You can grab one at wholesale for $16,000 at any auction with the same mileage. You may not want an S-Class that is 8 years old, & this was the first year that they made this body style. You r better off spending $24,000 & getting a second generation S-Class (Either 2003 or 2004), trust me u will be happier with the purchase. Plus, do u want to drive ur car back & forth to the Mercedes-Benz Dealership everytime a light goes on.. On a final note, try to bargain down to $15,000 because at that price it may be worth it. If u decide not to take it than definetely look into a newer model.
