Different rules for different states/provinces and countries but where l live, yes, you can even buy a car without a licence. You just can not register the car and put a lic. plate on it.

Yes you can buy it, if you are paying cash and not financing it. You can not do anything else with it until you have a permanent license and insurance.

but clk is r very powerfull & l would not rrecommendit as a first car. l have just bought a new clk 63 AMG & its lovely to drive & is a fab car but iv been driving for 14 years!! its got a 6.3l engine for god sake. which is eexcessively powerfull & in the hands of an iinexperienceddriver could prove fatal!!!!! its also not the easiest car to handle if something goes wrong!

maybe ur not quit thinking of this model but even the lowest powered clk 200 has a 2l turbocharged engine which is quite powerfull for a beginner!!!!

l just think its not the best car to start off in.
