It is a nice looking car, to park outside ur house & look at, but l hope you're not planning on actually driving it.

They r about as reliable as 30 year old Alpha Romeo, so have a good flat bed tow truck company on stand by..

Remember there is a REASON a S500 that sold new for $100K can now be had for around $15K

And the reason is THEY ARE ABSOLUTE PILES OF GARBAGE !

Transmission is the first to go, should run u about $7K if u can find anyone that will even touch it. Next is the A/C which involves dismantling the entire dash just to reach the notoriously leaky evaporator, ($5K) of course all the EF l & electronic stability stuff is DONE at about 65K miles, look for new ones to run about $3K. Oil change = $400, Tune up = $2600 EZ, oh & they eat mufflers like candy, but they only run about $1800

The soft compound tires run about $200 a piece, & last about 12K miles. So add on another $1,000 for tires, balancing, alignment every 10 months.

So if u do not mind spending $4,000 a month maintaining it, & do not care how often u end up on the side of the road waiting for the tow truck, then by all means, u will just LOVE this MBZ crapmobile !

Trust me, the guy that sells it to u will be laughing hysterically to get rid of it !

But at least it will have pretty rims! HA!

Do yourself a favor & get a used Lexus.
